Building Information Model Ltd. is a non-profit company that supports BIM standardisation in Finland, and works as a legal agent for the standardization cooperation.

buildingSMART Finland operates in conjunction with Building Information Model Ltd. , which is Finland's most significant open collaboration forum for information modeling.  

Building Information Model Ltd. takes care of the maintenance, finances and office services of the network.

Previously under the authority of the Building Information Foundation (RTS) as a separate committee buildingSMART Finland, which has worked, moved to Building Information Model Ltd., owned by RTS in 2021. At the same time, buildingSMART Finland became an independent Chapter International buildingSMART International.
